Audrey Karamourtopoulos DVM

Audrey Karamourtopoulos DVM

 

Dr. Audrey Karamourtopoulos is a 1987 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. Before opening Black Rocks Animal Hospital, she had opened and practiced medicine at Fremont Animal Hospital for 28 years after working 8 years at Bulger Veterinary Hospital, then in North Andover, MA. Dr Audrey is a passionate and dedicated veterinarian who also enjoys the challenges of difficult internal medicine cases and she is a very skilled surgeon. Over the years, Dr Audrey has been involved in helping establish several rescue organizations and has provided extensive medical care for the animals. When not caring for animals, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, antiquing, and being by the ocean. Dr Audrey lives in Fremont with her husband Peter and numerous animals (including dogs, cats, goats, chickens and a couple of horses).

Melissa Llorens DVM

Melissa Llorens DVM

 

Dr. Llorens is a 2014 Ross University graduate. She did her clinical rotations at Purdue University and moved back to the east coast after graduation. Originally from New Hampshire, Dr. Llorens moved back to her home state where she resides with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, freshwater fish and a snail named Gary. Dr. Llorens has a passion for developing relationships with her clients and being the bridge between her patients and their owners when dealing with their health and wellbeing. Dr. Llorens is also strongly dedicated to the development of people, in particular, helping others to find their passion and place within the veterinary industry.

Specialist: Jennifer McClellan DVM

 

Dr. Jennifer McClellan is boarded in small animal internal medicine and has been a practicing internist since 2004. Dr. McClellan received her DVM from Cornell University and returned there for her residency after completing a year- long rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital in Denver, CO. Dr. McClellan practiced in a busy 30-doctor referral practice in Northern Virginia before moving to New Hampshire in 2006. Besides being in practice here in NH, Dr. McClellan was also a consultant for Idexx Laboratories for 3 years. She is the owner of Mobile Veterinary Imaging

Dr. Michelle Powers, DVM

Specialist: Michelle Powers, DVM, DACVS, CCRT, DACVSMR

 

Dr. Powers is our MOVES veterinary surgery partner in the NH/MA region. She is available to perform advanced orthopedic and soft-tissue surgeries at Black Rocks Animal Hospital. Dr. Powers earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 1999, then spent the next several years completing multiple internships and conducting research as the PennHIP post-doctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her surgical residency and also served on the faculty at Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and earned board certification from the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) in 2008. In 2014, she earned board certification from the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (ACVSMR). She is also certified as a canine rehabilitation therapist (CCRT). Dr. Powers has a particular interest in orthopedics and soft tissue surgeries, including oncologic, cardio-thoracic, and reconstructive procedures. In her free time, Mich enjoys spending time hiking, kayaking, and participating in agility courses with her dogs, Chibi, Fuji, Pochi, and Taro.
